My oh my, what a wonderful few days were had in the woodsy town of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. I for one had no idea there was such a charming vacation spot in the Southeast part of Oklahoma. They offer cabins from one bedroom to five bedrooms offering accommodations for twenty plus people! Whether you are looking for a quiet romantic long weekend with the love of your life or a fun filled few days celebrating a family reunion as we did, Blue Beaver Luxury Cabins has everything you could possibly need. They come fully and perfectly furnished with beautiful kitchens, fresh linens and hot tubs! Fishing, jet-skiing, wine tasting and wine making all within close vicinity of your cabin.
My honey and I stayed in cabin, Nantucket Sams. As we pulled up I immediately was drawn to the sky-blue exterior and the white trim of the cabin. I also thoroughly loved the big wraparound porch. As I stepped in I quickly noticed the beautifully open gourmet kitchen and white shiplap living room, which was throughout the cabin. As I walked past the living room I walked right into the gorgeous yet soothing master bedroom. I loved the hues of grey and black with the white walls. The king size tufted headboard with decorative pillows nestled between two windows was perfection. Then there is this spa-like master bathroom where there is this large soaking tub and a double rain-fall shower with his and hers or another his sinks. Did I mention that there is this wonderful fireplace right in the middle of the master suite?!
As I stepped out of the master bedroom I came across an outdoor fireplace with a cozy but elegant sitting area. To the right there was a four person hot tub and to the left there was another quaint sitting area with two cute-as-a-button bicycles. All sitting on the wraparound porch that I mentioned earlier. At this point I need to walk back inside and go upstairs. Yes, there is more! Upstairs, I found a game room that included a pool table and another television. The guest bedroom is also located on the second floor. A super cute and quaint bedroom at that. There is a door that leads out to an upstairs deck that has, wait for it, a fabulous relaxing swinging bed! For me this is probably the best feature of this cabin. To be swinging and lying in bed, al fresco, is the epitome of relaxation.
To sum it all up, Nantucket Sams was created to give a peace and tranquility getaway. Every amenity was thought of and put into action so you feel like you are truly at home. This experience far exceeded my expectations. I can not wait to make another trip here and just getaway for a long weekend and just breathe in the fresh air.
