Another day another scrumptious lunch on the bay. I mean, when you’re staying on the bay in Coronado California do as the native Coronado/San Diegans, right!? I don’t think I have ever enjoyed seafood as much as I have since landing here in Coronado. A fabulous lady who I befriended highly recommended this delicious and beautiful restaurant that specialized in fresh tropical seafood guided by Pacific Rim flavors. Peohe’s (peohes.com) is nestled on the water’s edge in the Coronado Ferry Landing. It offers breathtaking views of the of the San Diego Bay and downtown skyline. Peohe’s (Pee-oh-ees) was also selected for “Rachel Ray’s Tasty Travels” TV show. For all you sushi lovers, Peohe’s prides itself with its superb Sushi bar that features innovative rolls and other sushi creations.

The whole ambiance of Peohe’s is Zen, elegant and beautiful. The tiered seating gives a sense of privacy and allows you and the other guests to bask in the gorgeous views. There is also the option of dining al fresco. The spacious patio or the charming dockside courtyard is available to enjoy the outdoors while you feast on your appetizers and main course. Peohe’s is only a ten minute drive over the Coronado Bay Bridge. However, a luxury of being on the bay is that you can also take a private yacht or water taxi to the restaurant. That would only be like a fine minute trip. For those of you who are locals and have yet to dine here, you must! The same applies to us out-of-towners. I assure you the combination of fantastic food and views will have you coming back for more!
