Last Fall when I was preparing for the Mid-west cold weather, I came across this camel knit hooded coat from TOPMAN (www.top.man). I know I mentioned last Fall but I’m sure TOPMAN will have a similar item this fall. As I’ve mentioned before I tend to gravitate towards classic pieces and this is one due to the color. If you see it I highly recommend to scoop it up. This would be a perfect addition to your Fall wardrobe especially in camel. There is something about this classic neutral shade that brings a luxe, well-made feel to this coat especially considering it’s affordable price point. As an added bonus, camel is similar to black as it compliments very well with nearly every other color.
For this shoot I paired the coat with a white deep v-neck t-shirt from American Apparel (store.americanapparel.net), blue distressed jeans from ZARA (www.zara.com) and a pair of white Rag & Bone leather low top sneakers from Hall’s (www.halls.com). In the past, I also have paired this coat with a black turtleneck and black dress pants and it really took this look to a whole new level. So, you can can definitely dress this coat up for a night out on the town or use it in a casual setting. This was the reason I needed to grab this “must have” fashion for Fall. Now for the finishing touches…
I for one, have to add an accessory or two to finish up the ensemble. I felt the need for a necklace from my gal pal’s line, Bitty Baubles KC. You should definitely check out her creative, affordable and beautiful designs. You can find them on Instagram (bittybaubles) or Facebook (Bitty Baubles KC). I’m also a big hat kinda guy, not just because I’m bald but because I love hats. OK, who am I kidding, I wear them partially because I’m bald. My go-to place for awesome baseball caps is The Bunker (bunkeronline.com). Bunkermade and KCMO products are designed in Kansas City by the Bunker Team.
