PERNICE

A few weeks ago, I had the great pleasure of opening up an email from a gentleman by the name of Patrick. This entrepreneur is the owner of PERNICE Clothing . This West Coast brand is located in Oakland California. They keep things fresh by collaborating with a different featured artist each season. At first, I was a bit taken back by receiving their email because I have been admiring and “liking” their caps, t-shirts and hoodies via Instagram. Incase you all did not know, I am a big fan of all kinds of hats. As far as caps I favor more of a flat bill snapback, especially the P Square Center Flat Brim cap that I am sporting. Anyhow, as I read the email I realized that PERNICE (per-nee-cheh) was interested in working with me! I was beyond flattered! This is a prime example of when you put much love and effort into something that you are passionate about, the right people will start to notice. PERNICE noticed and reached out…lucky me! I must add and I quote PERNICE, “I like your posts and respect your style and website”. Again, for me its amazing that a West Coast company would notice my little website and reach out to do business with me. This had not happened since Lordag & Sondag reached out before my launch this past September.

PERNICE is relaunching their clothing brand from the 90’s. Let me tell you, they are on fire with this relaunch! Patrick Pernice is actually a Kansas Citian who now resides, as I mentioned earlier, in Oakland California. He is of Sicilian descent and his inspiration for his clothing line is drawn from his ancestry in Sicily, to his upbringing in Kansas City. Patrick graduated from Raytown High School and at the age of 20 headed to the City of Angeles to pursue his dreams. He ended up in the San Fransisco Bay Area and never left. The focus of PERNICE is to collaborate with designers and create small limited-edition collections that can be recognized and shared with their followers through seasonal releases. Aside from running a successful clothing company Patrick is a philanthropic man! He is in partnership with Trees For The Future. For every tee, hat or hoodie you buy, a tree will be planted in a rural community to help it’s farming ecosystem! This is why I am SUPER excited to working with PERNICE.
